T IPSlite ia a physical and software interactive laparoscopy training interface that is accessible for users wherever there is sufficient internet connectivity. TIPSlite features the first cellphone-based 4-DoF surgery simulation controller, as well as cross-platform remote surgical training. TIPSlite is to replace the complex haptic force feedback setup of standard TIPS, and to provide an low cost, low latency remote surgical interface with enough accuracy.
